The Amazing Marley and Me

Have you ever wondered what it was like to have a bestfriend that would never leave your side? Or what about having an animal that could love you more than any human ever could? The morale of these questions are because in the movie Marley and Me, that is exactly what this amazing, heartfelt movie is about. It is about the bond that a man can make with his dog and how a dog can go from being though of as just an animal to becoming part of your family and filling a place in your heart. The main characters in the movie are played by Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, who by the way are some great actors. They make this awesome movie just that much better. I feel like I can relate to this movie because I have always had a dog since I was little and my first dog was one of my bestfriends that I ended up crying over after I found out she had passed, anyways the following could hold some content that will spoil the movie for those who have not seen it but I encourage anyone and everyone who has not seen this movie to watch it. Marley and Me is a great movie that will show the sentimental side of some people and bring out the emotional side of almost everybody.

The main star in the movie, Marley and Me, is the big golden colored Labrador Retriever that the movie is based on and also named after. As the golden Labrador Retriever grows older he becomes best friends with his owner John Grogan, who is played by Owen Wilson, who is also a main character throughout the movie. John then has his girlfriend move in and they end up getting married and having children. The first child they had Marley was just a puppy and everything started going down hill after the first baby got home. Marley kept keeping the baby awake so whenever the baby was a little bit older things started to get better until John and Jenny, who is played by Jennifer Aniston, decided to go and conceive another child and then that is two children, one new born and one that is either a one or a two year old plus a puppy that is starting to develop into the stage where the dogs eat up the furniture and start to teeth basically, like a baby does. Well Marley starts tearing things up and keeps barking and it keeps two kids up crying at night, so Jenny wanted to get rid of Marley, saying things such as, "We need to get rid of him right now! I can not deal with it anymore." So John was heartbroken thinking that he was going to have to get rid of his dog. So whenever Jenny tells John to get rid of the dog he takes Marley to his friend that lives in a condo to see if he could watch Marley for a while. John ends up getting a phone call one summer afternoon while his kids and wife were in the pool swimming and playing games, John was also playing games until he was interrupted by a phone call. The call was to tell him that he was offered a job which ended up paying better also. John and Jenny went to move into a new house with all three of their children. Marley has developed into a full Labrador by this time, and he always ends up sitting at the bus stop waiting for the oldest two children to get off the bus. Then one day Marley ended up getting sick and John had to take her to the vet so that they could examine Marley and figure out what the situation was, which it ended up being his stomach twisting which would put him in excruciating pain. Well the vets ended up getting his stomach untwisted and he was fine after surgery and back waiting at the bus stop. Well a few weeks later Marley goes miss and John and Jenny go looking for him. They end up finding him back in excruciating pain, so bad that he does not want to move. So John takes Marley back to the vet and they end up not being able to keep his stomach untwisted this time they tried, so they ended up having to put him down sadly. That is the part that gets to most people is when they see how a bond between a dog and his owner can be, and especially dog owners let it get to them because they think about their dog.
